A client of ours has worked alongside Green Duck for a number of years during which they have experienced significant growth. The client is a multi-purpose service provider in retail, leisure, transport, commercial and logistics sectors. The client's core members of staff are based at its local head office but it does have a number of other offices based around the country.
Our client has an urgent requirement to migrate all of their businesses to a central email solution for brand identity to be ready for the new contracts which it had recently gained. The client had a limited budget and a very challenging time frame.
Our client had a number of problems which needed solving. Three of their customers needed to have their email migrated to the central solution whilst maintaining their own network accounts. Additionally, the email solution at the head office was not sufficient enough to allow for an additional 500 users, plus the amount required for system overhead and space.
Green Duck immediately identified a suitable service that could migrate the email through the cloud through a series to pass over the mail server to collect email and copy it to new mailbox. In just over 5 weeks Green Duck completed the email migration for over 500 of the clients users.
